Description
As Product Owner and Solution Architect, Matthias was responsible for developing the data platform and connected web app. The development goal was to provide high-data quality with a central and harmonized data platform - the Enterprise Knowledge Graph. In addition, a web application was developed that allows users to easily interact with the knowledge graph to build new data-driven services. The solution includes a custom ontology, numerous machine-learning services, and a complex data ETL pipeline. Our multi-cloud environment includes Google Cloud Platform, AWS, and Azure. On the data engineering side, core technologies include Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Pub/Sub, Microservices, CI/CD pipelines, ArgoCD, and many more.

Description
As Product Owner and Solution Architect, Matthias was responsible for developing a Service to detect and predict machine failures and required maintenance for stagger cranes in logistic centers. Technically the solution was based on anomaly detection algorithms deployed as microservices in Kubernetes clusters. The software architecture was a hybrid cloud- and edge computing solution to balance fast computation in edge devices and aggregated data analytics in cloud services.
